BBC Green is the new green and sustainable living website designed by Poke in collaboration with MultiAdaptor for BBC Worldwide.

The BBC has been producing programming that covers environmental and "ethical" issues for years. BBC Worldwide carried out a massive study into consumer attitudes towards green issues and ethical consumerism. This website comes out of a need to plug a perceived 'trust gap'.

The research showed that a large proportion of Britain is 'ethically aware & environmentally conscious', but it also showed that there is a lot of confusion and uncertainty about which sources can be trusted to provide you with information to make informed choices.

The aim of BBC Green is to cut through the confusion and complexity around these issues and help you make the choices that enable you to live a more sustainable lifestyle. BBC Green understands that you can't do it all, and that everyone has different priorities. BBC Green simply wants to help you make the right choices for you, your family and the world.
