Write for Us
Poke London is an independent digital creative publication. We welcome contributions from writers, researchers, and practitioners working across the creative industries — from strategists and designers to technologists and cultural commentators.
What We Publish
Our editorial covers the intersection of creativity, technology, and brand strategy. We are particularly interested in:
- Campaign analysis — In-depth breakdowns of notable digital campaigns and what made them work (or not)
- Industry perspectives — Informed opinion pieces on trends, tools, and shifts in the creative sector
- Case studies — First-hand accounts of projects, with honest reflections on process and outcomes
- Practical guides — Actionable resources for creative professionals at any stage of their career
Contributor Guidelines
We look for clear thinking, original perspectives, and writing that respects the reader’s time. A few things to keep in mind:
- Pieces typically run between 800 and 2,000 words
- We favour concrete examples over abstract theory
- First-person experience is welcome — tell us what you’ve actually seen and done
- We edit for clarity and house style, and share drafts before publication
Open Contributor Roles
Beyond individual articles, we occasionally bring on regular contributors for specific editorial needs:
Contributing Researcher
An experienced researcher to produce data-driven features and audience insight pieces. Ideal for someone with a background in user research or market analysis who enjoys translating findings into engaging editorial.
Contributing Editor
A seasoned editor or producer to help shape our editorial pipeline — commissioning pieces, working with contributors, and maintaining quality across our publication schedule.
How to Pitch
Send a brief outline of your proposed piece or a note about the contributor role you’re interested in to [email protected]. Include a link to two or three examples of your published work. We aim to respond within a week.
